Our President Mr.S.Santhanam’s Comment on Union Central Budget 2007.
The Budget for 2007-2008 announced by our Finance Minister, Hon’ble Thiru P.Chidambaram has touched all sectors for getting due share of benefits and on the educational side scholarship for students including backward classes, additional allocation on mid-day meals scheme, recognition for more ITI sectors which will give more boost for employment in IT sectors; giving importance for small traders and professionals by giving increase in service tax slab from Rs.4 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs; increase in allocation for health care and concession for coir industry and handloom sector. Even though the expectation of Income Tax ceiling is not considered but raising Rs.10,000 in the slab which will give little relief for middle class people.

in general as well.
